The objective of the Advanced Training in Sculp- ting Techniques is to train professionals to be able to design and interpret sculpture projects of any artistic trend, traditional or modern.
This objective means training students to design and make sculptures in any materials, with special emphasis on stone, metal and wood work, as well as artistic modeling and casting techniques.

In addition to helping students to enter the labor market as freelancers or employees in art or craft workshops, it also provides them with specialized training for Fine Arts and Conservation and Restoration students, related to threedimensional art. Sculpture studies are also highly appreciated in other fields:

  • Building renovation and ornamentation
  • Scenic design for theatrical, film and television scenery
  • Ephemeral architecture in fairs, exhibition stands, congresses, shopping malls…
  • Street furniture
  • Children’s playground equipment
  • Toys
  • Elements used in traditional festivals (masks, puppets…)
  • Sports trophies, business gifts, medals and plaques…
