INCOMING STUDENTS

 

Nomination: the partner institutions should nominate their students by e-mail addressed to EASD Mestre Mateo International Office. The nomination will include the name of the student, their e-mail address and the study area.

Online Application: All Students need to fill an online Application downloadable here and submit it and the required documentation by e-mail, addressed to EASD Mestre Mateo International Office.

INCOMING STAFF

 

  1. Please send your CV and your proposal of a standard Erasmus Agreement (signed by you and the responsible person from your school) to erasmus (at) easd.es
  2. The final decision will be made depending of the staff’s from the given unit availability.
  3. After your arrival please come to the International Office to receive the confirmation of your mobility.

In the Spanish System, marks are graded from 0 to 10.

The Escola de Arte e Superior de Deseño Mestre Mateo (EASDMM) is located in Santiago de Compostela, in the extreme northwest of Spain, an autonomous community of Galicia, which is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and the Cantabrian Sea..

It is a small city, with a population with over 96,000, but with a vibrant life. This is due to two reasons:

Santiago is generally a city of students, especially at the University of Santiago de Compostela, which is estimated to increase the city’s population by 30,000 people during the school months.

A city is the culminating point of Camino that receives the same name, through which 700,000 people flock every year.

This contributes to Santiago being simultaneously a small, safe and cosmopolitan city, where the local population mixes students and tourists from different parts of the world. This also contributes to having an interesting leisure, cultural and gastronomic offer.

Have a humid oceanic climate. Thus its temperatures are mild throughout the year, with an annual average of around 14º, with maximum of 25º in summer, and minimum of 5º in winter. The annual precipitation is around 1500 mm, which is concentrated throughout the autumn and winter months.

It is located 1 hour from the main cities of Galicia, and half an hour from the beach.
